A word-less world
Many a times, I find myself asking this question:Will Zane ever talk?
He is coming 3.5 yo and still no speech from him.
From him, it is always gestures, pulling and tugging. And sounds of ahhhhh, errrr, that's it. Sometimes we can hear a ba, dee, ma or bye from him. That's about it.
Will speech therapy help? Or any kind of therapy that will really help? Can anything help?
What can I do? What else should I do?
Subconsciously, I will avoid people who will boast about how many words their babies can say. I'll find chance to walk away from them. It is too painful to know.
Last year, I sold away all my child developmental books. I don't want to even see them sitting on my shelves. I read no more of such books and articles. I feel vex reading about them.
Anyway, will walk on.

Hope you're taking things at stride. Don't put too much pressure on yourself. : )
Hope- CONFIDENT expectation of sth gd happening. God says in Romans5: 5 tt hope does not disappoint.- confident expectation does not disappoint.
"For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith". Galatian5: 5
We do what we can do and leave the rest to God. We face what we need to face and let God decide the outcome. The little that I learn from coping with Dad's sickness. love always christine
