holiday begins today

I'm very glad that it is the September holiday now.

I've been to the clinic (yes, my 4th time, I know) yesterday.

Today will take the children to Ikea. I hope to get some play shelves.
Going to do a bit of reorganisation to the living room's play area. The children are getting bigger and their play interests have changed slightly.

Tomorrow, there are programs too, more for adults, not for the children. Thankfully our morning is not taken up yet. So, maybe can take them outdoors.

Actually, one week holiday is actually very short. By right, have to churn out new worksheets. I hope I can have the time, space and finance to do it (well, printer isn't working now and the brand new thumb drive which Josh bought for me isn't working too???)

Till the next post..... gotta go .......

The children are ready and waiting.

Btw, they were both up by 7am !!! Don't they know that it is holiday and they can sleep in? Poor mummy is still sleepy as she slept very late last night.

Love,
Jesselyn

Zhen, are you still coughing badly now? Hope you can take this holiday to have a good recuperation. Take time off to smell the roses and be yourself. Love yourself a little more. : )

Yes, Bri, will recuperate and recuperate. I dun intend to look at the worksheets, lesson plans, term plans etc till Friday. No work for the next four days, please. Ha ....

Yes, one week is very short.

My voice is back and the throat's just itchy.

Today, Zoe's school friends and teacher (taught her for two years) are coming over for tea cum play date. Yeah .... will be very busy cleaning up and all.

The play areas are already set and arranged. Like learning corner style in schools. Well, old habits die hard. Still tend to be rather structured.

Hmmmmmm, when it comes to play, if the adults just allow the children to have free play and more free play, what do you think ? Purposeless play are at times rowdy and messy. Unless the kids are the very inter-engaging sort. For kids who dun always play together, it is good to plan and structure the play for them.

Love,
Jess
